Have you ever gone through seasons where it seemed like God was silent, and you're prayers were going unheard or unanswered? During these times I've learned how to rely on the Word of God and not on what I could see, think, or feel. This is where knowing the character of God comes in, because He is a promise keeper. Whatever He has spoken in His Word, He will surely bring it to pass.
No matter how much time passes, when the answer comes, it is always worth the wait. The manifestation of God's blessings, promises, and rewards are always exceedingly abundantly above what we could ever ask or think. But if we give up on what we've been praying for, we will never experience the rewards that comes to those who pray and stand in firm their faith.
And when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
Your time spent in the secret place of prayer is not in vain. God will bless you in such a way that others will start to take notice. Don't give up on whatever you are praying for, because to give up on your prayers is to give up your rewards. Continue being steadfast in your faith and press on for your rich rewards.
Lovingly,
Kathy
Kathy,
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do get weary in my prayer life. I think that God is tired of hearing from me with the same request over and over again. Thank you for those encouraging words to be steadfast in my faith and prayer life.
