I got so excited as I began to tell my Daddy (Abba Father) about the injustices in my life. I knew He was going to bring justice into the situation because I stood before Him blameless. That's not to say that I'm always perfect and never do anything wrong, but in this particular situation I knew I had done nothing wrong. Now I had legal (biblical) grounds to state my case and be justified by the Lord. God didn't tell me to fight my own battle, or to argue with the person who was treating me unfairly, He simply told me to plead my case.
What I experienced in my prayer time that day has revolutionized my life and completely changed the way I view things that happen to me. If someone treats you unfairly, don't take matters into your own hands, let God deal with the person(s) or situation. Your job is to simply stay in right standing with God, do what Jesus would do, and stand before God blameless and plead your case. Wouldn't you rather let the Lord fix the situation instead of trying to handle it yourself?
David prayed for justice when he said, Hear a just cause, O Lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from Your presence; Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright. You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
Psalm 17:1-3
Jeremiah cried out for justice when he prayed, Give heed to me, O Lord, and listen to the voice of those who contend with me! Shall evil be repaid for good? For they have dug a pit for my life. Remember that I stood before You to speak good for them, to turn away Your wrath from them." Jeremiah 18:19,20
When I prayed for justice and learned to plead my case before the Lord, I witnessed His power go to work on my behalf as He dealt with the person who had treated me unfairly. The next thing I knew, their attitude had completely changed towards me and we went on as if the experience had never happened. God will bring justice into your life if you do what is right before Him and plead your case in prayer. "For I, the Lord, loves justice." Isaiah 61:8, and He also loves you. What a winning combination. Do you need to plead your case before the Lord so that justice can be served in your life?

thank you Kathy. It is a Godly solution that I didn't realize there was a Scripture verse to help guide me(us all). It is far better to choose this rather than the "victim" stance.
