Let me forewarn you, this post is different than any other. As you well know, yesterday was 11-11-11. How often do dates such as this come around? Throughout the month of November I begin to hear buzz about how this date was prophetic, so I decided to check into it for myself. I discovered that God was calling His people to gather together and humble themselves in prayer on this day, because He desires to do business throughout the earth.
Last night I had the opportunity to attend a city wide prayer meeting called PrayDFW. People from all around the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex gathered together to pray from
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. These were not just people, these were
Pray-ers! Theses were those who have chosen to be a part of what God is up to in the earth. There were Christians, pastors, church leaders, men, women, children; all from various denominations and churches, all of different races, and ages all gathered together for one purpose; to pray the heart of God! There were no "Big I's and little you's." There was no glory given to man, but to God alone. The fire of God, the presence of God, and the plan of God was very evident throughout the meeting as prayers were lifted up to the Lord. It was beautiful! It was Holy! It was God!
I'm sharing all of this to say, God is calling His people to PRAYER! Will you answer God's call? Will you be a part of what God is doing in the earth? Will you yield yourself to the Holy Spirit to pray out the plans and purposes of God? Will you cry out to God on behalf of your family, your community, our nation, our government, our schools, the church...?
Don't miss what God is doing! Don't be left out! Don't be too busy to pray! Don't be too lazy to pray! Don't make excuses for prayerlessness! Answers are waiting in the presence of God! Let's Do business with God. Are you willing?
